Gubernatorial Candidates Scrutinize Plans
Illinois gubernatorial candidates have unveiled their plans for the economy. as expected, both sides, are scrutinizing each others plans.
Republican candidate Bruce Rauner spoke in Schaumburg, saying Gov. Quinn's track record of the economy was "atrocious."
Rauner says he plans to lower Illinois' income tax rate to help businesses and working people, something he says Quinn wants to increase.
Gov. Quinn responded by calling Rauner's plan a "dumb idea" that would hurt everyday people.
Quinn also noted Illinois' dropping unemployment rate for June, and that "it's important we keep momentum."
