Early Voting Ends Saturday for Primary Election
If you're not registered to vote, you're running out of time to get registered and cast your ballot for the primary election.
Early voting in most places ends Saturday.
All in all, the election office in Sangamon County is expecting about a 20 percent voter turnout. They say that's typical since this is not a general election.
"Voters should be prepared to have to tell their judges when they vote what party ballot they would like," Stacey Kern of the Sangamon County Election Office said. "Now if a voter wants to vote on public questions and no candidates, they do have an option of voting on just a proposition only."
If you need to register, make sure you bring two forms of identification to the election office. One of those IDs should have your current address.
If you just want to vote early and don't need to register, you only need a photo ID.
