CRIME STOPPERS

Crime Stoppers is seeking information...

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about two Burglaries that occurred on Tuesday May 25th in the 1000 block of N. 8th. The home owner of two vacant homes reports that the two properties were in the process of being remodeled. When workers arrived to continue work on the houses they attempted to use the water. Noticing that the water was not functioning properly they noticed that the copper pipes had been removed. Upon checking the other vacant residence workers got the same results when attempting to use the water. There have been several other reports throughout the City of Springfield of copper pipes being removed. Recycling Centers are urged to notify local Law enforcement agencies with any information of suspicious activity. If you have information about any of these incidents you can remain completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 788-8427, submitting your tip online at Cash4Tips.us or by text. Type TIP672 plus your message and send to CRIMES. You could get a cash reward of up to $1000. Remember Crime Stoppers wants your information not your name.
