Crime Stoppers is seeking information...

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information on a Homicide that occurred at 14th and Stuart in Springfield on Sunday, June 22nd between 9:30 and 11:15 p.m.  Residents in the area found the victim, Turjwuan “TJ” Matlock lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his back.  Witnesses report hearing five gunshots at 10:45 p.m. however no one called the police. Turjwuan Matlock was last seen alive at 9:30p.m., walking in the 100 block of north Walnut, after attending the Juneteenth Celebration.  Police did locate some evidence but need your help in solving this crime.  If you have information on this Homicide you can remain completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 788-8427, submitting your tip online at www.cashfortips.us or by sending us a text.  Just type TIP672 plus your message and send it CRIMES(274637).  You could get a cash reward of up to $1000.
