Carl joins the ABC NewsChannel 20 family as the new co-anchor of Sunrise this Morning.

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Carl graduated from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.

Most recently Carl was a reporter/anchor for WFMZ in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Carl got his start in the business as the Clearfield Region Bureau Chief for WTAJ in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Carl's most memorable reports include those from Ground Zero in New York just days after the attacks of 9/11. Carl also covered the Quecreek Mine Accident and miracle that ensued in Sipesville, Pennsylvania from beginning to end.

"This profession has given me the chance to tell the extraordinary stories of people I would have otherwise never met. I look forward to telling the stories of Central Illinois and meeting the great people that make up this part of the world."

The thing Carl cherishes most is his family and then the community he serves. Giving back has always been a part of Carl's life. He is honored and grateful for the opportunity to have worked with the Children's Miracle Network and Relay for Life. Carl has also served as an honorary chairman of the American Diabetes Association, an organization Carl holds near and dear to his heart.
